Top European club eyeing a move for Nigerian star who currently has a deal with Chelsea

Serie A giants Inter Milan have reportedly concluded plans to make Victor Moses' loan deal permanent provided Chelsea will reduce the price slammed on him.

The Nigerian star joined the Italian League side on a short term loan deal from Premier League side Chelsea having spent the first half of the season at Turkish outfit Fenerbahce.

Moses has been on the Blues' payroll since 2012 after making a switch from Wigan Athletic but never got a chance to play at Stamford Bridge until the arrival of Antonio Conte in 2016.

The departure of the Italian born manager also saw the fortunes of the former Super Eagles star dwindled as he was bundled out to Turkey on loan Maurizio Sarri.

Daily Mail revealed that Inter have an option to buy the player outrightly at the end of his short stay but that will only be made possible if the Premier League side is considering a pay cut.

The 29-year-old has created just one assist in seven league appearances before coronavirus forced the league to go on suspension. Italian news outlet Calciomercato reports that Inter are interested in keeping the wing-back but only if they can get him at a discounted price.

The Nerazzurri will, however, try proposing a new offer for the Nigerian star whose deal with Chelsea elapses in the summer of 2021.

Moses scored eight goals and eight assists in 78 appearances under Conte across competitions with a Premier League and an FA Cup title.
