EPL giants eye world record move for Super Eagles striker who is also wanted by Chelsea

Premier League giants Leicester City are reportedly planning for a summer move to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen who has been impressive this season for Liile in France.

Victor Osimhen's performances so far this term has caught the attention of many clubs in the Premier League with Manchester United and Chelsea also said to be monitoring the Nigerian.

Chelsea feel Victor Osimhen can provide superb competition for Tammy Abraham at Stamford Bridge, while Manchester United want him to be another option up front.

However, Leicester City are said to be more serious in looking for Victor Osimhen as they are of the opinion that he will be a good replacement for Jamie Vardy.

This season alone, Victor Osimhen has netted 18 goals and created six assists for Lille in all competitions.

Lille brought the Nigerian in for Ivorian Nicolas Pepe who joined Arsenal and Osimhen has not disappointed since he teamed up.

According to the report on Complete Sports, Lille are demanding massive sum of around £60 million from any club who are interested in Victor Osimhen.

As it now stands, it is not certain if Leicester City or Manchester United will want to pay such amount for Victor Osimhen this summer.

United may not want to spend such amount considering the fact that they have Odion Ighalo who is expected to sign another deal with the Red Devils.
