Ronaldo reveals which is more rewarding between sleeping with his woman and winning World Cup

Retired Brazil legend Ronaldo Nazario recently gave a brilliant answer when asked what was more rewarding between winning a World Cup and getting intimate.

Ronaldo was the star of the show back in 2002 when Brazil completely dominated the World Cup which they eventually went on to win in Japan.

The Brazilian, who was 26 at the time, was at the peak of his powers as a string of world class performances also earned him the golden boot.

While his best football days are certainly behind him, Ronaldo made a surprising confession in an interview with The Guardian.

According to the 43-year-old, not many things are as fulfilling as winning the most coveted trophy in the world.

In that sense, he ranked the World Cup before intimacy but also admitted both were equally as important.

"Both are very hard to go without but I don't think intimacy could ever be as rewarding as winning the World Cup," he explained.

That may come as a surprise to many who view football as "just a game" but Ronaldo has a brilliant reason for his overall point of view.

"It's not that sex isn't great. Just that the World Cup comes once every four years and sex is a lot more regular than that," Ronaldo said.

The 2002 World Cup was his second one overall and for that reason, the Brazilian is always among the names embroiled in the debate on the most talented football players ever.

He talked about his sex life quite openly during his playing career, particularly when he was rocked by a string of injuries.

According to an interview in a Brazilian TV, Ronaldo said he used to engage in intimate activities before games because it "helped him concentrate".

At the time, Ronaldo insisted his intimate life did not affect his performances in any way.

Notably, to take attention of his consistent injuries, he took to the now famous Ronaldo hairstyle in 2002 to take the attention away from his off pitch woes.
