Coronavirus: Arsenal manager, Arteta breaks silence on his health, EPL calling off games

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has spoken for the first time since he tested positive to the coronavirus.

Arteta, writing on his social media pages, said he was "feeling better already".

The Spaniard also commended the Premier League for postponing fixtures until April 3.

"Thanks for your words and support. Feeling better already.

"We're all facing a huge and unprecedented challenge. Everyone's health is all that matters right now.

"Protect each other by following the guidelines and we'll come through this together.

"Well done PL for making the right decisions," Arteta wrote.

Arsenal were due to travel to Brighton on Saturday afternoon.
