Jubilation at Old Trafford as top Man United star returns from injury ahead of Chelsea tough tie

Manchester United have been handed a huge boost ahead of their Premier League clash against Chelsea next weekend.

The Red Devils have been recked with series of injuries with Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba out of the crunch clash.

Both teams need maximum points in the game to advance their course to finish top four at the end of the season.

Chelsea currently sit fourth on the log with 41 points after 25 games, while United dropped to eighth on the table after their barren draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Daily Mail, however, reports that Scott McTominay has joined the first team in their warm-weather training planned to help the players regain fitness.

The midfielder was originally meant to miss the trip, just like Pogba but he was later sighted alongside all other teammates during their session earlier today.

Winter signing Nathan Bishop was also part of the exercise having sealed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the Old Trafford side.

The 23-year-old has made 17 Premier League appearances with three goals and one assist credited to his name.

It is unsure if the midfielder will play any part of his side's game against Chelsea on February 17, but his return to training will help Solksjaer prepare better for the meeting.

Bruno Fernandes has made his debut for United in their goalless draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers, it is left to be seen if Nigerian star Odion Ighalo would get his first against the Blues.
