He took to social media to reveal his thrill at meeting some big names in the world

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford was in attendance at the Super Bowl LIV event in Miami, Florida between Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.

His back injury suffered weeks ago could not have come at a better time as he took the opportunity to share in a once in a lifetime experience.

The 22-year-old shared pictures at the event hanging around some of the world's famous celebrities including music mogul Jay Z.

The elated Rashford shared his experience at what could be the only super bowl he witnessed while playing the game he loves.

"Probably one of the only Superbowls I could have seen live during my career and what an experience," he wrote on Instagram.

The famed half-time show saw Gerard Pique's wife Shakira and Jennifer Lopez take the stage giving fans a once in a lifetime performance.

The Manchester-born and bred footballer followed in the footsteps of his England compatriot Harry Kane who was in attendance at the 2019 event thanks to his injury.

At the moment, both English forwards are out with long term injuries giving Garry Southgate endless headaches with the Euro 2020 event just around the corner.

The Red Devil star was not the only one to enjoy the final of the NFL game as others from different countries also showed support for American Football's biggest game.

Funny enough as European football fans continue to cry foul about incidents in matches believed to have been wrongfully interpreted, the NFL fans are no different.

As it appears, there were also controversies in the use of the technology as some of the fans believed wrong decisions were made during the game.

Rashford will, however, be hoping to get back in the field and help out his United side who seem to be lacking goals.

Even after the acquisition of Portuguese playmaker Bruno Fernandes, the side found it tough to get past a well-organised Wolverhampton Wanderers side.

The English Premier League is on a two weeks winter break that hopefully will give new Man United loanee, Odion Ighalo, enough time to integrate and hopefully get the needed goals as they await the return of their top scorer Rashford.
