Champions League: Neymar reveals his objective

Paris Saint-Germain forward, Neymar says his objective is to win the UEFA Champions League for the club.

The Brazilian international said this ahead of PSG's clash with Pau in the French Cup round of 16 tie on Wednesday evening.

"I never play to be number one. I do it because I love football and I feel happy on the pitch," Neymar was quoted by Marca as saying.

"Why would I want to leave? I have two years left on my contract and I want the team to keep progressing. My objective is the Champions League.

"I've had various serious pains in the last two years and I was out for practically six months. I missed scoring goals."

Neymar will hope to lead PSG to victory when they take on Dortmund in the Champions League round of 16 clash in February.

The 27-year-old has scored 66 goals and registered 35 assists in 75 matches since joining the club in 2017 from Barcelona.
