Not a lot of football stars have played beyond 10 to 15 years professionally before calling it quits in their respective careers.

6. Emre Belozoglu (39) £450k
With over 100 international caps for Turkey and a bronze medal at the 2002 World Cup, the former Newcastle star is currently on his third spell with Galatasary.

The 2005 Champions League winner returned to his first club Baník Ostrava and Czech Republic legend is still waxing strong.
8. Kenny Miller (40) £180k
The Scotland legend has scored nine goals in 23 matches for Championship side Patrick Thistle at the age of 40. Remarkable.
9. Shunsuke Nakamura (41) £90k
He was one the best free-kick takers in Europe during his impressive spell with Scottish giants Celtic. He joined Yokohama FC after they J-League side gain promotion.
10. Kazuyoshi Miura (52) £90k
The former Japanese international is the oldest professional footballer at 52 and he recently signed a new deal with Yokohama FC.
