Liverpool boss Klopp plans big money move for Super Eagles after impressive scouting reports

Lille forward Victor Osimhen is attracting interest from Premier League table-toppers Liverpool as reports claim Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has requested a detailed scouting report on the 21-year-old striker. 

According to Express (UK), Klopp is looking to add to his striking options as he considers the young striker as a brilliant option upfront. 

Osimhen has been hugging major headlines in France and has already scored 13 goals in all competitions for Ligue 1 side Lille so far this season. 

This comes after he scored 20 goals for Belgian side Charleroi, on loan from Wolfsburg, last season before moving to Lille in July. Top European clubs plan mega deal for enterprising Super Eagles star in January  

The 21-year-old, who only joined Lille in July after they sold Pepe to Arsenal, was named Ligue 1 Player of the Month in October. 

Aside from Liverpool, several Premier League clubs have shown interest in Osimhen who has scored four goals in five appearances for the Super Eagles. 

It was earlier reported that Newcastle, Chelsea and Tottenham were among top clubs who are keen to sign the Nigerian striker but It is understood Lille will not consider bids for Osimhen in January. 

Osimhen is under contract for another four-and-a-half year having signed a five-year deal when he joined. 

However, Lille have accepted that it is only a matter of time before they will be forced to cash in on Osimhen but would like to keep him at the club until the summer.
