Celebration at Old Trafford as top European side reveals they are no more interested in signing Man United star

Paul Pogba will not be joining Real Madrid in the January transfer window after Spanish side reveal they are no more interested, reports claim.

The France international had earlier made it clear he was ready to leave Manchester United and spoke of how it would be a dream to play for for the Spanish giants.

But according to Spanish news media outlet Marca, Los Blancos have told Pogba's agent Mino Raiola that the club are not interested in signing the Frenchman.

It is understood that due to the current form of Federicco Valverde in Madrid's midfield, there is no need to sign Pogba.

And United gaffer Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has insisted that the 26-year-old is still in his plans as Pogba is set to make a return when the Red Devils travel to Vicarage Road to face Watford.

Pogba has been on the sidelines for three months following an ankle surgery and failed to return in last weekend's draw against Everton due to illness.

The World Cup winner has a year and half left on his current deal at Old Trafford and United want £85million if they are to sell him next month or in the summer.
