Chelsea struggle to secure long terms deal for 2 of their important superstars

Despite their impressive performances this season in all competitions, Chelsea are reportedly struggling to secure long term contracts for the duo of Tammy Abraham and James Reece.

Already, Chelsea have been able to secure contract extensions for the duo of Mason Mount and Callum Odoi who have also impressed under manager Frank Lampard.

After playing 16 Premier League games this season for Chelsea, Tammy Abraham has established himself as one of the best strikers in England scoring 11 goals.

His superb form for the Blues this season has also earned him a place in England national team and Chelsea want him to sign another deal.

James Reece on the other hand became Chelsea's youngest ever Champions League scorer when he bagged the fourth in their 4-4 draw with Ajax last month.

The contracts of Tammy Abraham and James Reece will expire at Stamford Bridge in 2022, and according to the Telegraph, the Blues are not closer in tying their futures down.

Tammy Abraham currently takes around £50,000-a-week at Stamford Bridge and he reportedly wants £120,000 being collected by Hudson Odoi Meanwhile, Chelsea are currently occupying fourth position on the Premier League standings with 29 points after 17 games played this season.
