2 Premier League clubs plot January transfer for Super Eagles star

Kelechi Iheanacho will not be sold in January despite interests from two Premier League club, reports claim.

Aston Villa and Crystal Palace have been linked to the in-form Leicester City striker who has scored two goals in his last three matches.

The Super Eagles forward found the back of the net against Everton and Villa after failing to score since December last season.

And according to Telegraph Sport, the Nigerian international has caught the eye of Premier League sides but Leicester are not willing to let go back up striker for Jamie Vardy.

Villa have struggled in front of goals this season despite spending heavily on Brazilian striker Wesley in the summer.

Palace on the other hand, have six strikers but have only managed to score 15 goals in 17 Premier League matches.

Iheanacho joined the Foxes in 2017 after falling out of favour with Pep Guardiola in Man City and he scored an impressive 21 goals in 64 matches.

But the 23-year-old has had a disappointing spell since the arrival of Brendan Rodgers last season but he has shot himself into form in recent weeks.
