Top European coach refuses vacant Everton managerial position

Unai Emery has turned down the offer to become Everton's new manager including two Chinese clubs.

The Spanish boss who got relieved of his duties as manager of Arsenal a few weeks ago has been in huge demand ever since.

Emery has now refused to accept the offer from Goodison Park after the Merseyside club let Marco Silva go following poor string of results.

The former Paris Saint-Germain is believed to be waiting for the right offer to return to management at top level.

According to Spanish news media outlet Marca, two Chinese Super League clubs have also contacted the ex-Valencia boss but Emery refused to move to Asia.

It is understood Emery who won three Europa League titles with Spanish club Sevilla, including a Ligue 1 title at PSG, claims he will only join a club that has a strong chance of winning silverware.

Arsenal have been linked with Carlo Ancelotti, ex-Juventus Max Allegri, Mikel Arteta and Wolves boss Nuno Epirit Santo.
