Man Utd top star leaves club training after just 24 minutes amid January exit rumors

Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic has once again fueled exit rumours from the club after spending just 24 minutes at their training complex.

The former Chelsea midfielder's future at Old Trafford is unsure having fallen out of favour with his manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

It is now becoming increasingly likely the former player will leave in January following his latest training ground snub which comes just days after he gave the club's gala dinner a wide berth.

SunSport reports the 31-year-old was spotted turning up at the Carrington training complex at 9:06am in his Mercedes, but jumped back in his motor and drove off just 24 minutes later as the rest of the team stayed back for a light training session.

The Serbian appears not to be in Solskjaer's plans at Old Trafford, with the Norwegian regarding him as surplus requirements.

In the absence of injured Paul Pogba, Solskjaer has settled in a midfield partnership of Fred and Scott McTominay, with the pair playing nearly every minute of Premier League action since October.

Matic has not been seen on the field in a league fixture since the 2-0 defeat to West Ham back on Sunday, September 22, and will now possibly force a January exit to rejuvenate his career.

He is not short of potential suitors, with Inter Milan understood to be among top European clubs understand to be monitoring the Serbian's situation at United.

Matic joined United back in 2017 for £40million on a three-year-deal, in a move that saw the defensive midfielder link up again with then club boss Jose Mourinho.
