Cristiano Ronaldo accused of 'stealing' after Portugal's Euro 2020 qualifier against Luxembourg

Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo on Sunday, night, November 17, scored his 99th international goal for Portugal in their 2-0 win over Luxembourg.

Bruno Fernandes scored the first goal for Portugal in the 39th minute, before Cristiano Ronaldo netted the winner in the 86th minute.

But instead of fans to celebrate Cristiano Ronaldo's 99th international goal, they attacked the ex-Real Madrid star claiming he stole the goal from Diogo
Jota.

Diogo Jota superbly controlled a cross from Silva and poked it towards the goal before Cristiano Ronaldo tapped the ball in.

The goal would have been Diogo Jota's first international goal for Portugal if Ronaldo had allowed the ball to enter the net.

Fans have however blasted the five-time Ballon d'Or winner on social media with some calling him a selfish player.

Some fans also stated that Cristiano Ronaldo did the same thing that was done to him by Aaron Ramsey while playing for Juventus.

They want Ronaldo to apologize to Diogo Jota for the goal he scored against Luxembourg.

Meanwhile, Portugal have booked their place in next summer's Euro 2020.
