Man united plotting surprise transfer move for former Manchester city star

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly eyeing a move for Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho next summer.

The 19-year-old winger has been enterprising for his German League side since he joined them from Manchester City in 2017.

He was also part of the Gareth Southgate's team that demolished Montenegro 7-0 in their penultimate Euro 2020 qualifier at Wembley Stadium.

According to SunSport, the forward has had a torrid time at his Bundesliga side with some quarters linking him with a return to the Premier League in a deal around £100 million.

Reports from the German club's camp revealed that the attacker was handed a fine of £86,000. and was forced to train alone in the rain after returning late for training following England's duty.

He also saw just 36 minutes of action in his side's 4-0 defeat against Bayern Munich before international break.

Meanwhile, Sunsport reports that Liverpool and Real Madrid are also interested in the enterprising star.

Sancho currently earns about a £190,000-a-week after signing a new contract in August - meaning that any club interested in his signature will have to cough out so much money to get it.

United boss Solksjaer wants the player to link up with fellow England star Marcus Rashford and France striker Anthony Martial in an exciting new three-pronged attack.
