Man united star Rashford breaks Ronaldo's record after scoring 50th club goal against Norwich city

Marcus Rashford scored his 50th goal for Manchester United in his 183rd appearances for the club during their 3-1 over Norwich City, five games quicker than Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 21-year-old made his debut under Louis van Gaal and went on to play for Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Rashford now has five goals in the new season, an average of one in every two matches and he will be looking to get better of 13 strikes he had last season.

Solskjaer has continued to put his faith in the England international after letting Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez join Inter Milan in the summer.

On the other hand, Ronaldo scored 50 goals after 188 matches for the Old Trafford club but helped the Red Devils win a hat-trick of Premier League titles and a Champions League trophy.

The Portuguese international has gone on to win five Ballon d'Or awards, one out of them he achieved with Man United.

Rashford's childhood hero, Ronaldo has now scored 701 career goals which is expected to motivate the Englishman in achieving similar heights.
