WWE Extreme Rules: Lesnar becomes new Universal heavyweight champion as Kingston retains title

The 2019 edition of the WWE Extreme Rules produced some stunning results in the five-hour fun packed event in Philadelphia.

Undertaker teamed up with Roman Reigns against Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre and it was one of the Dead Man's best performance on the night as they won the match.

Shinsuke Nakamura became the new Intercontinental champion with a surprise victory over The Demon, Finn Balor.

The Revival retained their Raw tag team championship after defeating The Uso brothers while the New Day became Smackdown tag team champions following win over Daniel Bryan and Luke Harper along with Heavy Machinery in a triple threat match.

Another new champion was crowned on the night as AJ Styles defeated Ricochet to become the new United States champion.

The mixed double fight between Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch against Baron Cobin and Lacey Evans in a winners take all ended in favour of Rollins and his girlfriend Lynch.

But things got ugly as Corbin and Evans attacked the couples as Brock Lesnar arrived the scene and cashed-in his Money in the Bank contract, to win the Universal Championship.

Kofi Kingston survived the Samoan submission machine, Samoa Joe in a contest that the WWE champion was counting his lucky stars.

Bayley retained her Smackdown women's championship in a handicap match as she defeated two best friends Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross.

Other Extreme Rules results include

Cruiserweight champion Drew Gulak defeated his challenger Tony Nese as Aleister Black posted a surprise win over Cesaro. Kevin Owens defeated Dolph Ziegler and Braun Strowman won Bobby Lashley in a last man standing match.
