Transfer: EPL top midfielder snubs Arsenal, decides to join Man United

English Premier League, EPL, midfielder, Mario Lemina, has preferred to make a transfer move to Manchester United over Arsenal in this summer's transfer window.

Lemina has been heavily linked with a move to Man United and Arsenal in recent weeks.

According to Daily Star, the Southampton star is set to join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side after being left out of the club's pre-season tour of Austria.

The newspaper is now reporting that the Red Devils will pay Southampton £18million to land player to Old Trafford.

The report added that Southampton manager, Ralph Hasenhuttl, is happy for the Gabonese international to leave the club after he missed four months of the 2018/19 campaign to injury.

Lemina had recently revealed his intention to leave Southampton this summer.

The 25-year-old said: "I still have another three years of contract, but it is true that I do not rule out the possibility of seeing something else.

"The last four months have not been easy for me, with my injury."
