PSG finally respond to Neymar's transfer request to Barcelona

Neymar's requested move to Barcelona may have hit the rocks as Paris Saint-Germain have told the Spanish giants he is not for sale at any price.

The 27-year-old has said that he wants to leave the club and will like to return to Spain and rejoin La Liga champions two years after making a £198million move away from Camp Nou.

Barcelona are willing to offer the French club £90m and Philippe Coutinho for the Brazilian but PSG are not interested.

The wealthy Qataris owner will find it hard to replace the commercial value of one of the world's most recognizable footballers.

Spanish news media Sport had claimed that Neymar told the French club that he will not play for them again and that the player started to regret his decision to join them just weeks after the transfer was completed.

Reports from Sport went on to further claim that clashes with Edinson Cavani (over penalties) as well as disagreements with the club's doctors and president Nasser Al-Khelaifi have contributed making Neymar unhappy at Parc des Princes.

PSG's initial plan was to sign Neymar to help them win the Champions League but has failed in two attempts sitting out in the round of 16 loss to Real Madrid and Manchester United respectively .

But his friendship with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez are a key factor in his desire to return to the Nou Camp and he told Al-Khelaifi to sell him before heading to Brazil for the Copa America.
