Solskjaer explains what his team needs after Champions League defeat against Barcelona

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made it clear that a huge rebuilding has to be done on his team after losing against Barcelona on Tuesday night, April 16.

Solskjaer's men were beaten 3-0 in the second leg of their Champions League quarterfinal clash losing 4-0 on aggregate in which Lionel Messi scored a brace.

The Norwegian tactician has now admitted that rebuilding process must be done for Manchester United to reach the level of Barcelona.

"We know there's work to be done, I've said all along this isn't going to change overnight and the next few years are going be massive to get to the level of Barcelona and other teams are at.

"We have spoken to the players we need to get the best out of each other and create an environment of top, top class attitude world class attitude every single day.

"We've got good players to work with and at the moment we've done really well to get to the quarters and challenge for top four but as I said we've got a rebuilding job and it starts with the coaches and players, and with one or two additions,'' Solskjaer explained according to UK Sun.

After crashing out of the Champions League, Manchester United will now focus on finishing the ongoing Premier League season among the top four.

With five games to go, the Red Devils are currently occupying sixth position with 64 points.
