Here is how Premier League table looks like after defeat for Chelsea at Liverpool

Liverpool on Sunday, April 14, returned back to the top of the Premier League standings after impressive 2-0 win over Chelsea in which Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah scored.

Jurgen Klopp's men went into the match with great determination after knowing that their rivals Manchester City had defeated Crystal Palace in their own encounter.

But a win against the Blues at Anfield restored Liverpool's two-point lead on the Premier League table with four games remaining for the Reds.

After losing against Barcelona at home in the Champions League, Manchester United put the defeat behind them by beating West Ham United 2-1 at Old Trafford.

Manchester United are currently occupying fifth position on the Premier League table, but they could go back to sixth if Arsenal should win their game on Monday night, April 15.

Tottenham produced the best result over the weekend as they defeated already relegated Huddersfield Town 4-0.

Despite Chelsea's defeat against Liverpool at Anfield, Sarri's men are occupying fourth position on the Premier League log with four games for them to end the season.

And at the drop zone, Newcastle United, Southampton, Brighton and Cardiff City are all fighting not to join Huddersfield and Fulham in the Championship next season.
