Eden Hazard reveals player that'll succeed him, says he is 'future of Chelsea'

Chelsea star player, Eden Hazard has described fellow teammate, Callum Hudson-Odoi as "the future of Chelsea".

Hazard, who is set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, believes the England youngster can succeed him at the club, adding that he hopes Chelsea can keep him at the West London club for many years to come.

The Belgium international has been on Real Madrid's radar over the last few months as Zinedine Zidane is his known admirer.

Recall that Real Madrid contacted Chelsea last month over their bid for Hazard as Zidane returned.

The Spanish giants are eyeing Hazard as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who after nine years, left the Santiago Bernabeu for Juventus in an £88million deal last summer.

Speaking on Hudson-Odoi, Hazard told Sky Sports: "He's the future of Chelsea.

"I've told him already. He's still young but when you see him he looks like he's played 10 years.

"He's a great guy to work with, he's been fantastic. He wants to learn and he's young so I hope Chelsea can keep him for a long time.

"He's got quality, sometimes I understand it's hard to get young players in the team because we have people like me, Willian, Pedro.

"But when he has the chance to play they have to show they're ready and Callum is showing that right now."
