Manchester City remain at the summit of the Premier League table with 74 points after week 30 following their 3-1 win over Watford at the Etihad Stadium over the weekend.

England winger Raheem Sterling was responsible for all three goals in the second half of the meeting as the Citizens are edging closer to defending the title they won last season successfully.

The victory means they are better than Liverpool with just one point after the same number of matches this campaign.

Jurgen Klopp's demolished Burnley 4-2 at Anfield to remain second on the log while they hope the current log leaders stumbles with just eight matches to wrap up this season.

Same cannot be said of Tottenham Hotspur who were beaten 2-1 by Southampton at the St. Mary's Stadium but still maintained their third position at the end of the match day.

As it stands now, Mauricio Pochettino's men are just one point better than Arsenal after their impressive win over Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium in Sunday's clash.

The Gunners leaped into top four having garnered 60 points from 30 matches and will hope they can maintain the position so as to qualify for the Champions League at the end of the season.

While Burnley sit just two points above Cardiff with 30 points after 30 matches and they will hope they can avoid the drop at the end of the season.

Premier League match day 31 fixtures kick off on Saturday, March 16 with seven matches, while the three remaining games wrap proceedings off for the weekend.
