Newcastle United have parted ways with their youth team manager Peter Beardsley after being accused of racism and bullying.
The club was said to have launched an investigation into the matter while away on leave having denied the claims earlier.
Following the outcome of the examination, the Magpies announced that they have relieved the 58-year-old of his duties at the club.
According to report from the club, a number of players were said to have complained against the tactician over his treatment towards them.
They also appreciated the manager for his contributions to the club during his playing days as well as his coaching reign.
The Magpies said on the club's official website today that: "Newcastle can confirm that Peter Beardsley is no longer employed by the club .
"We are grateful for the contribution Peter has given over the years as a player, coach and ambassador and we wish him well for the future. The club will make no further comment at this time. "
Beardsley scored over 100 goals for Newcastle United during his two stints at the club as a player before becoming the manager of the youth team in 2005.
He also featured for top Premier League clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool, Everton and Fulham before hanging his boots at Melbourne Knights in 1999.
The former midfield/forward was appointed assistant manager for the English national team between 1999 and 2000.
