FA decides on what to do to Kane after headbutt incident against Chelsea star Azpilicueta

Harry Kane will no longer face a potential three-match ban and is expected to make Tottenham squad for Saturday's North London derby against Arsenal.

According to a UK Sun report, the Three Lions forward, who was in the thick of the action for Tottenham faced an anxious wait after his row with Chelsea skipper Cesar Azpilicueta in Spurs 2-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge.

Interestingly, if the decision had gone against Kane, the England international would have been axed for three games including Saturday's Wembley cracker with Arsenal alongside Southampton and Liverpool tie.

However, referee Andre Marriner revealed in his match report that he sighted the incident, but stressed that he did not consider it too important at that point.

The FA had no choice but to discontinue the probe citing the body's regulations.

But had Marriner revealed he was unaware of the clash, the case would have been transferred to a three-man committee, made up of experienced former refs to determine the gravity of the offence.

Tottenham will be eager to get back to winning ways against Arsenal in a bid to save their top four spot.

Spurs have suffered two consecutive defeats to Burnley and Chelsea in their last Premier League games.
