Chelsea manager Sarri finally reveals who will be his number 1 goalkeeper after Kepa's substitution row

Maurizio Sarri has reportedly resolved to keep faith with embattled Chelsea goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga, ahead of his side's encounter with Tottenham Hotspurs.

The Blues will host Spurs at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night, February 27, with the hope of bouncing back to winning ways.

It was anticipated that Sarri would drop Kepa in the tie after the Spanish goalkeeper refused to leave the field in the Chelsea's EFL Cup final defeat to Man City.

The Italian tactician wanted to replace Kepa with Willy Caballero moments before the penalty shootout, but the 24-year-old shot-stopper declined to obey the manager.

The duo has since issued separate statements, insisting their was a miscommunication between them during the showdown.

Amid the tension that has now rocked Chelsea's dressing room, Sarri has decided to play Kepa when his side host Spurs as he seeks to bury the hatchet with the keeper.

Chelsea currently sit sixth on the log and will be looking to pick a win against their rivals to keep their chances of finishing in the top four alive.
