Ferguson storms Chelsea pitch to congratulate 3 Man United players and Pogba is not 1 of them

Alex Ferguson went into the Stamford Bridge pitch to have a chat with three Manchester United substitutes after their FA Cup win over Chelsea.

The Red Devils made it through the last eight of the competition following the 2-0 win over Chelsea with two first half goals from Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba.

Ferguson was present at the stands and the Scotsman was happy with United's performance and results before showing off big smile on his face at full time.

As Man United substitutes were observing their post-match warm ups, the legendary manager made his way into the field.

The 77-year-old was seen having a chat with Alexis Sanchez, Scott McTominay and Diogo Dalot as he walked across the pitch.

Sir Alex has made multiple visits to United's training ground since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over from Jose Mourinho last December.

And the Norwegian manager has admitted that the Scotsman has remained a positive influence to him as a player and his managerial career.

"He knows the staff I've got are Manchester United through and through. He knows we're going to do whatever we can, up to the last second we're here, for Manchester United, as best we can."
