Spanish giants Real Madrid reportedly pulled out of the race to sign Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi because of his wife Wanda Nara who is now his agent.
Mauro Icardi's future is currently in limbo after being stripped of captaincy at Inter Milan which made him to refuse to travel with the club for their Europa League game.
His current deal at the Italian club will expire in the year 2021, but Real Madrid were interested in bringing the Argentine to the Bernabeu before the close of the January transfer window.
Los Blancos wanted to lure Icardi to the Spanish La Liga so as for him to help them solve their striking problems this season.
But according to the report, Real Madrid pulled out of the deal because they will have to talk with his wife with they never wanted to do.
This latest development is now expected to be a good one for Premier League side Chelsea who are also interested in the signing of Mauro Icardi.
Icardi married Wanda in 2014 after she divorced his former team-mate Maxi Lopez.
Wanda Nara has been openly critical of Inter's transfer policy, and has even taken a swipe at performances on the pitch.
