Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now asked his players to dust off themselves and pick up the pieces after his side's 2-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
The Tuesday night, February 12, loss was Solskjaer's first since taking over from Jose Mourinho as United manager in December.
Before then, the Norwegian had enjoyed a decent run of results, with ten wins from 11 eleven matches.
However, his side was handed a reality check by PSG at Old Trafford as the French giants dominated proceedings in the first leg of the round of 16.
Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappe netted a goal apiece to gift Thomas Tuchel's crucial away goals ahead of the second leg.
In the wake of the defeat, Solskjaer has now threatened to drop any United player caught sulking.
"Don't feel sorry for yourself,'' Solskjaer advised his players afterwards.
"We have Chelsea and Liverpool in the next two games. Whoever feels sorry for themselves will not play probably," he warned.
He further observed that the PSG tie presented a learning experience to his squad, especially the young ones.
"This is something to learn from. It was a level up from what we're used to. That's part of learning when you're young. Many of our players are very young," he said.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils will be looking to bounce back to winning ways when they battle Chelsea in the next round of the FA Cup.
