Barcelona told to sign Manchester United star to replace Luiz Suarez

Barcelona have been told by former player Patrick Kluivert to sign Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford as Luis Suarez replacement.

The Uruguayan has scored 16 goals in all competitions this season and does not look like age is catching up on him.

But Kluivert thinks the 32-year-old should be replaced by the Red Devils youngster Rashford if Barca are to invest in any striker in the future.

The Dutchman, who made more than 180 appearances for Barcelona, told Sport360: "I like Marcus Rashford, a lot. It will be really difficult to get him over. But he is a good player.

"I don't see a lot of players who can play in Barcelona. [Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang, perhaps he can play.

"There is not a lot. Maybe some players who can play in La Liga, young players. But, for me, I think the best one is Marcus Rashford."

He added: "I think so. He has got the skills, the attitude, he's quick, he's fast, he can score goals. He is not always in the first XI at Manchester United and maybe he wants to change club. So, why not?"

The England international enjoyed the current season at the Theatre of Dreams, scoring ten goals in all competitions including the all important strike against Tottenham and Leicester City.

And six of his goals have come since Ole Gunnar Solksjaer took over as caretaker manager, and the 20-year-old has been handed more opportunities to play.
