Liverpool fans worried as Mohamed Salah makes big decision on social media

Liverpool striker and Egypt international Mohamed Salah has pulled down his official Twitter account from the social media site which has left many fans puzzled.

But just before pulling down his Twitter account, the Egyptian international sent one final Tweet that left Liverpool fans confused over what could be going through their talisman's head.

"2019 Resolution: Time to get in touch, for real," Salah's tweet read as seen by Liverpool Echo.

The tweet looked to be some sort of New Year's resolution with many fans saying the it could be aimed at the Egyptian Football Association's longstanding dispute with the player.

Salah has previously expressed his displeasure at the way the Egyptian FA handles him and things got worse after a photo of the star featured outside the national team's official plane.

Moreover, the plane was provided by official sponsor WE - despite his own individual sponsorship deal with Vodafone.

And this is not the first time Salah has sent a mysterious message on social media.

He posted a black and white image on all his official social media handles in November 2017, with his head bowed down almost implying his reluctance to represent his nation.

The striker has been impressive for the Reds scoring three goals in his last two games.
