Mourinho attacks Man United, makes some statement that will annoy the club

Portuguese football manager Jose Mourinho has launched astonishing attack on his former team Manchester United claiming that the Red Devils does not have structure for modern football.

The former Real Madrid and Chelsea gaffer was thrown out at Old Trafford last month due to poor performance and bust up with some Manchester United players.

And while speaking on beIN Sports in what was his first major interview since he was sacked at Manchester United, Mourinho explained that the club never gave him the support he felt needed.

The man known as the 'Special One' stressed that United does not have the structure in place to cope with the demands of modern football with player power now heavily influencing the game.

One player that caused big trouble for Jose Mourinho at Manchester United is Paul Pogba, and the Frenchman has been impressive since the departure of the 55-year-old.

"People might say: 'This guy is crazy, he won 25 titles and now he says that second position with United was one of his best achievements in football.

"But I keep saying this because people don't know what is going on behind the scenes.

"We are not any more in a time when the coach by himself is powerful enough to cope. The coach nowadays needs a structure, he needs a club organised in a certain way.

"The club must have an owner or a president, a CEO or executive director, a football director and then the manager. This is the structure that can cope with all the problems modernity is bringing all of us.

''A club must be very well organised to cope with all these kind of situations where the manager is only the manager and not the man that is trying to keep the discipline or is trying to educate the players,''
Mourinho explained.
