Checkout the bizarre reason Man United fans believe Solksjaer does not like to sit on Mourinho's seat

A section of Manchester United fans have conceived a theory on why club boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sits in a different dugout seat to Jose Mourinho.

Since the arrival of Solskjaer at Old Trafford in December, the Red Devils have experienced tremendous changes both in form and attitude as the Norwegian seeks to turn around the club's fortunes.

The Manchester outfit has recorded six wins out of six in all competitions under the tutelage of Solskjaer, and a top four finish in the Premier League now looks likely.

The baby-faced assassin has replicated Sir Alex Ferguson's approach in numerous ways since taking charge in December 2018.

However, in a rather unprecedented move, Solskjaer abandoned Mourinho's seat in the dugout, returning to the back row where Ferguson used to sit.

The decision became apparent during United's FA Cup encounter with Reading when a mix-up ensued between Alexis Sanchez and the club boss.

At the time, the former Molde manager booted the Chilean out of his seat leaving eagle-eyed fans in stitches.

Whereas Mourinho sat at the front of the dugout, with an unobstructed view of the pitch, Solskjaer sits in the back row behind all of the substitutes.

But fans on Reddit have come up with an amazing theory on why he does this.

One wrote: "I think it's predominately for a better view of the game but maybe he's also making sure the players on the bench are paying attention.

"Sir Alex Ferguson always used to have this seating arrangement [as did most other United managers] so he's just learnt it from Fergie," another one suggested.

Another supporter added: "Sir Alex Ferguson always used to have this seating arrangement (as did most other United managers) so he's just learnt it from Fergie."
