Chelsea star told to leave Stamford Bridge following signing of Christian Pulisic

Former Tottenham Hotspur star, Jermaine Jenas has told Chelsea youngster, Callum Hudson-Odoi to leave Stamford Bridge after the West London club signed midfielder, Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund.

Chelsea completed the signing of Pulisic for £58miillion on Wednesday.

The Blues have loaned the United States international back to Dortmund for the remainder of the season before he will link up with his new team-mates in the summer.

Jenas, however, believes that Hudson-Odoi will have to leave Maurizio Sarri's side in the near future following the arrival of Pulisic at Stamford Bridge.

"I think that's harsh," Jenas told BBC Sport. "He's a very gifted player, Christian Pulisic. 20 years old.

"But my concern is that Chelsea have got Hudson-Odoi already.

"So why are they spending all this money on somebody [Pulisic] new to come in?

"What does that mean for Hudson-Odoi? He's probably going to leave Stamford Bridge.

"Hudson-Odoi will have to move on. Move him on and then we lose another one, don't we?"

Chelsea will face Newcastle United in their next Premier League fixture following a goalless draw with Southampton on Wednesday.
