Paul Pogba's mother offered top football job in Guinea

Manchester United star Paul Pogba's mother, Yeo Moriba, has landed a lead role with the Guinea Football Federation.

Moriba, who is a former footballer with Guinea's Women national team was named an ambassador for women's football after a meeting with Feguifoot President, Mamadou Antonio Souare.

According to a BBC report, the Guinea Football Federation (Feguifoot) is hoping Paul Pogba and his twin brothers Florentin and Mathias, will support their mother in her new role.

In an exclusive interview after her appointment, Moriba expressed her gratitude towards the federation for believing in her in the new assignment.

"I am proud of what the Guinea Football Federation and its president have done," Moriba divulged to Feguifoot website.

Pogba's siblings Florentin and Mathias were both born in Guinea before their mother moving to France where the Manchester United midfielder was born.

The have equally enjoyed a relatively successful football careers, with Mathias, who plays as a midfielder currently featuring for French side, Tours.

Contrary to their male counterparts' triumph in football, Guinea's women team has never qualified for any international competition including the Africa Cup of Nations.
