Chelsea turn to hot scoring Premier League as Morata's replacement

Premier League giants Chelsea will continued their search for a new striker despite spending a whopping £58million on Christian Pulisic, according to reports.

The Blues have turned their attention to Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson to help bolster Maurizio Sarri's misfiring attacking line which includes Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata.

The west London club were the first set the ground running in the January window by signing Pulisic from Dortmund but the American has been loaned back for the remainder of the season.

However, the Italian tactician is bent on making another signing having appeared to have lost confidence in his center-forwards.

Morata who was given a start against Southampton failed to impress leaving him with just five goals this season while Giroud has only found the back of the net once.

On the other hand, Wilson has been one of the stars of the Cherries this season and his goal in the 3-3 draw with Watford was his ninth of the campaign.

He was also called into Gareth Southgate England's squad for matches in the Europa Nations League.

Sarri has been forced to change his tactics playing without a natural striker as Eden Hazard has been drafted into a center-forward's position in four Premier League matches.

The Belgian has however been frustrated with the role have been used to playing from the left wing all through his spell with the club.
