Marcus Rashford to snub Real Madrid transfer and stay at Manchester United

Marcus Rashford has decided he wants to stay at Manchester United and will reject any approach from Real Madrid, reports say.

Real made contact with Rashford and his team at the end of 2018, as the Spanish giants considered making a summer transfer move for the United star.

Rashford was open to talks amid concern about his playing position under Jose Mourinho.

However, the Sun claim that with Mourinho's departure from Old Trafford, Rashford will stay at United and snub any offers from Real.

Rashford has found a new lease of life under caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and has scored twice in three games under the Norwegian.

United fans will be delighted to hear the academy graduate is set to stay at the club.

The 21-year-old is one of United's most prized assets and is considered the future of the club.

Rashford is now likely to sign a new long-term deal with United, as his current deal expires in 18 months.

United travel to Newcastle on Wednesday in their next outing, and Solskjaer is hopeful Rashford will be available for selection after picking up an injury in the win over Bournemouth.

'I think he'll be OK. He's been working so hard and he's been a bit tired. I think he'll be alright,' Solskjaer said.

United are aiming for their fourth win in a row and to keep up their perfect record under Solskjaer.
