Maweather makes incredible comeback, gets $9m for knocking out opponent 3 times in 2 minutes

Undefeated boxing champion Floyd Mayweather has defeated Japanese kick-boxer Tenshin Nasukawa on Monday, December 31, 2018 with a technical knockout, in a New Year's "exhibition" fight that saw the American superstar out of retirement.

According to a Sport Bible report, Mayweather floored Nasukawa, three times in the first of the three-round contest at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo before the Japanese fighter's trainer rushed into the ring to stop the fight.

The win sees Maweather pockets $9m for knocking out his opponent 3 times in 2 minutes during the bizarre bout which was expected to go nine minutes of boxing (3x 3 minute rounds).

Interestingly, there was no judges, or even a sco0ring system, but it was clear from the beginning that Mayweather was the strongest of the pair after flooring his opponent three times in matter of seconds to end the year and would not count on either fighter's record

Moments after the match was over, Nasukawa was still spotted in tears as Mayweather applauded the kick-boxer's efforts, during his humble post-fight interview.
