What Mourinho said after Man United's 4-1 win over Bournemouth

Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho, has reacted to his side's 4-1 win over Bournemouth in the Premier League fixture played on Saturday night at Old Trafford.

Goals from Ashley Young, Juan Mata, Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford ensure Mourinoh's side defeated the visitors.

Speaking after the match, Mourinho said that United needed the three points against Bournemouth after playing three matches without a win.

"We needed it," Mourinho was quoted by Metro UK as saying at post-match.

"The last three matches we didn't lose, but didn't win.

Now we have two away matches, then two at home.

"Let's see if we can get more points from those matches.

"The players have shown they can be a better team than they are.

"When there is solidarity in the team, everyone giving their maximum, you attract more positive things."

Man United now occupy sixth position on the Premier League table with 26 points from 16 games.
