Mourinho gives latest updates on Marcus Rashford's injury ahead of Arsenal clash

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has provided injury update on forward, Marcus Rashford, ahead of the Red Devils' Premier League clash with Arsenal on Wednesday night.

Rashford picked up a knock in United's 2-2 draw with Southampton on Saturday evening in the Premier League encounter.

Goals from Stuart Armstrong, Cedric Soares, Romelu Lukaku and Ander Herrera ensured Mourinho's side drew against the hosts.

Mourinho, however, is confident that Rashford will be fit to play some part against the Gunners at Old Trafford.

"Fatigue, he [Rashford] was injured, he was asking to come out during Southampton clash," Metro UK quoted Mourinho as saying at post-match.

"It was not that kind of injury, some players with that kind of injury do not play for two weeks but Marcus, I am pretty sure will be fine for the next one.

"But it's one kick here, one kick there, one fall here, one fall there. "Fatigue, lots of running, lots of movement, 75 minutes and he was done and we tried then with Martial replacing him."
