Chelsea manager Sarri reveals the name of the player he no longer wants at the Bridge

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has reportedly told England defender Gary Cahill to find another club in January.

The 32-year-old seems not to be in the plan of the Italian born tactician having tasted just one Premier League action this season.

He featured for 21 minutes in the Blues goalless draw against West Ham United in September at the London Stadium.

However, SunSport quoting Italian news outlet Calciomercato claims AC Milan are plotting a swoop when the transfer window opens.

Apart from Cahill, they are also eyeing a move Andreas Christensen to fill the void left by their three injured defenders
The Danish international has featured in all other tournaments for the Blues except the English topflight.

He joined Chelsea in 2013 but was sent on loan to German League side Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2015 where he scored five goals in 62 appearances in two seasons.

Championship side Aston Villa are also interested in signing Cahill, giving the veteran defender a chance to link up with John Terry - and return to the club where he started his career.

Further rumours suggest that former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is considering taking his former star to Manchester United to help shore up the Old Trafford club's leaky defence.
