Atletico Madrid forward Diego Costa was caught on camera exchanging hot words with teammate Antoine Griezmann for backing a Barcelona player over his own squad mate.
According to a UK Daily Mail report, Costa almost exchanged blows with Barca's Samuel Umtiti during the Atletico Madrid and Barcelona showdown and Griezmann was also seen tying to play a peacemaker role but the Frenchman move did not go down well with Costa, who captured in a video clip by Movistar TV questioning the Frenchman.
"I'm your team-mate! "
Interestingly, Griezmann and Umtiti claimed the summer World Cup with Les Bleus in Russia, with Costa believing his teammate prefers taking sides with his compatriot over an Atletico squad member.
But as soon as Costa scored off a Griezmann corner kick tempers calmed down as the ex-Chelsea man returned to scoring form after 18 games.
However, Atletico were denied a win at the dead as Ousmane Dembele netted after coming off the bench to save Barcelona from defeat.
