According to a report, Essien's wife has already packed out of the former Chelsea star's home in London and may start divorce proceedings soon.
Akosua Puni, the report stated, is angry with the former Black Stars midfielder for cheating on her with Ghana-based Gambian actress Princess Shyngle.
It will be recalled that the Gambian actress recently disclosed Essien to be one of her ex-boyfriends.
In an interview with Delay, Shyngle revealed that she had about seven ex-boyfriends and the former Chelsea midfielder was one of them.
The revelation had come in response to a question on Shyngle's claim that 99.9% of her previous boyfriends could not satisfy her in bed.
