Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri plotting a surprise move for highly rated Argentina forward and it is not Higuain

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is reportedly planning to sign in-form Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi during the January transfer window.
The 25-year-old has been on fire for his side since the start of the 2018-19 season - scoring four goals and creating two assists in their first seven Serie A meetings.
He has equally netted twice in two appearances in the Champions League ahead of their midweek battle against Barcelona at the Camp Nou.

Daily Star however reports that the Blues boss wants to strengthen his attack despite recording no fewer than twenty goals in nine EPL games so far.
Former Real Madrid forward, Alvaro Morata has only scored twice this season while Giroud is yet to make an impact when goalscoring is concerned.
However, the Stamford Brige side will have to cough out a whopping sum of £97.5 million to trigger his release clause from his current deal with the Italian giants.
Other realistic targets for the Premier League giants according to the Daily Mail are Genoa sensation Krzysztof Piatek and Gonzalo Higuain.

Piatek has scored 13 goals in nine appearances for his side after his £3.5 million summer move from Cracovia.

Napoli are also said to be monitoring the striker, who scored his side only goal against Juventus in last weekend's Serie A encounter and he is expected to cost £30m.
