A goal each from Eden Hazard, Ross Barkley and Alvaro Morata ensured the Blues claimed their sixth EPL victory of the season.
The in-form Belgium star opened scoring for the visitors on the half hour mark after receiving a superb assist from Barkley.

Sarri's men continued dominating affairs at St.Mary's, with the hosts making little or no threat upfront.
Upon the resumption of the second half, Chelsea intensified their dominance in the attack, with Southampton boss Mark Hughes often looking peeved on the sidelines.
Chelsea's efforts paid off in the 57th minute, with Barkley extending the Blues' lead as he tapped in from close range.

Alvaro Morata who broke his goal drought to lead Chelsea to a hard-earned 1-0 Europa League win against Hungarian champions Vidi did not start the Sunday south coast clash, but was introduced in the 68th minute as he came on for Olivier Giroud.
The Spaniard went ahead to seal Chelsea's 3-0 win at stoppage time, as Hazard slid in for Morata to score from close range.
Following their comfortable victory over Southampton, Sarri is yet to taste any defeat in the domestic league as they momentarily went top in the EPL standings with 20 points.
