Real Madrid resurates €200m plot to sign top Premier League star in January

Spanish giants Real Madrid are happy fierce rival Barcelona defeated Tottenham 4-2 in Wednesday's Champions League tie at Wembley.
According to a Tribal Football report citing Mundo Deportivo, Los Blancos president, Florentino Perez is particularly thrilled that Spurs suffered another defeat in the group stage of the UCL as plans to table an offer for €200m-rated Harry Kane in January.

The report further noted that the Galaticos chief remains upbeat that Tottenham's early exit from the Champions League would clear the way, for Kane seal a move to the Santiago Bernabéu in January 2019.

Los Blancos eggheads are now keen on landing a big forward in the winter transfer season, after failing to replace Portuguese star, Cristiano Ronaldo who joined Juventus in the summer.
Currently, the England international is No. 1 in Real Madrid's wish list for January, and will be available if the Premier League campaigners fail to progress to the last 16 rounds in Europe.

Already, the Spanish outfit are set to commence negotiations over a potential €200m deal, once Spurs are eliminated after their group matches.

Interestingly, with new UEFA rule now in place, Kane will be free to represent Real Madrid in the Champions League despite playing for Tottenham in the group stage.
