Chelsea superstar emerges as a January transfer target for Man United after defeat against Derby

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill has reportedly emerged as a January 2019 transfer target for Manchester United who want to bolster their defense next year.
The Englishman has lost his place this season in Maurizio Sarri's starting lineups at Chelsea, and he is also interested in a move away from Stamford Bridge, unless there is a change of situation.

According to the report by UK Sun, there are many Premier League clubs who are monitoring 32-year-old defender Gary Cahill.
But the report added that Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho is a fan of the player and wants to have a reunion with him at Old Trafford.

Gary Cahill made his first appearance in the ongoing Premier League season in last Sunday's goalless draw at West Ham as a second-half substitute.
Chelsea are occupying third position on the Premier League standings with 16 points after six games.
