France national team coach Didier Deschamps has won the FIFA Football Award for the best coach category.
The former Juventus and Chelsea legend emerged winner ahead of his fellow countryman Zinedine Zidane and Croatia coach Zlatko Dalic.
The French World Cup winning tactician was rewarded for his feat at the 2018 edition held in Russia during the last summer.

The 45-year-old became the third person to win football's most prestigious tournament as a player and coach joining the likes of Mario Zagallo of Brazil and Franz Beckenbauer of Germany.

Zidane's third successive Champions League winning feat was not enough for the former Real Madrid manager to clinch the award for the third time.
Dalic on the other hand, helped Croatia qualify to their first ever World Cup final as they came runners-up of the competition losing 4-2 to France
