Paris Saint Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe has taken to social media to show off his autographed Santos jersey by Brazil legend Pele according to SunSport.
The 19-year-old striker helped France win their second FIFA World Cup this summer in Russia as he became the second teenager to score twice in the tournament since Pele's double against Sweden in 1958.
He (Mbappe) scored in Les Blues 4-2 win over Croatia on July 15 and was crowned the best young player at the tournament.
After the tournament, Pele congratulated the youngster on social media saying that: "Congratulations @KMbappe. 2 goals in a World Cup so young puts you in great company! "
Just as if that wasn't enough, the 77-year-old further strengthen his affiliation with the French star by giving him a signed Santos shirt.
The three time World Cup winner spent 18 of his almost 21 years career with Santos and scored 619 times in 638 appearances.
Meanwhile, the PSG star while reacting to the kind gesture from the football legend said: "Thanks for this amazing gift, King @Pele. "
The youngster has shown no signs that his blistering form during the World Cup will slow down anytime soon after an impressive start to the season.
He has scored four times in just two league starts and also opened his Champions League account in the defeat at Liverpool.
